Codync is an open-source, free application that exposes coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot and 40+ more via the Agent Client Protocol) as persistent "bots" that can be messaged like teammates from iPhone, Mac, Linux desktop or terminal. It is positioned explicitly as a 1:1 alternative to Grok Bot and Muse, runs entirely locally on the user's own machine (Rust host, native Swift/GTK apps), and requires no account and no cloud copy of code or conversations. The project is MIT-licensed and publicly available on GitHub (leepokai/Codync) and on its own domain codync.dev.
