Cairn is an open-source problem-solving engine (state-space search) by oritera that coordinates AI agents toward a defined goal. It was first validated on autonomous penetration testing and CTF tasks but is designed for broader goal-directed problem solving. In October 2026, NorForge reported more than 20 publicly exposed Cairn control panels linked to malicious intrusion activity.
