Muse Glimmer is an open 30-billion-parameter AI model from Meta Superintelligence Labs designed for autonomous agent workflows running locally on end devices (Mac/PC with a consumer GPU). It was derived via distillation from the larger, closed model Muse Spark and combines multimodal understanding, tool use, multi-step Reasoning, and error correction. The model is available free as an Open-Weight release under the Apache-2.0 license on Hugging Face and is compressed to under 20 GB through 4-bit quantization, enabling it to run on standard GPUs with 24 GB VRAM.
