The Atlas 960E SuperPoD was unveiled by Huawei at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 (September 17, 2026, Shanghai). It connects up to 4,096 Ascend 960 NPUs via UnifiedBus and the Hi-ONE near-packaged optics engine. According to the manufacturer it delivers 8 EFLOPS FP8, 16 EFLOPS FP4 and up to 1 PB HBM, and is fully liquid-cooled. These are manufacturer claims and not independently verified.
