AFM 3 Cloud Pro is Apple's most capable server-based language model of the third-generation AFM 3 family, announced on June 8, 2026 at WWDC 2026. It runs on NVIDIA GPUs within Google Cloud infrastructure — the first extension of Apple's Private Cloud Compute to third-party hardware — and is designed for the most demanding tasks such as agentic tool use and complex reasoning. Apple developed the model through its own pre- and post-training pipelines, using outputs from Google's Gemini frontier models for refinement, without deploying Gemini as a runtime model. Parameter count and detailed technical specifications (context window, latency, pricing tier) have not been publicly disclosed by Apple.
