NVIDIA DSX is a software and reference design platform announced in May/June 2026 for designing, simulating, building, and operating AI factories at data center scale. It unifies open-source software libraries, APIs, reference architectures, and partner technologies into a co-designed framework spanning chips, systems, infrastructure software, facilities, and power management. DSX comprises DSX OS (operations software), DSX MaxLPS (power/performance optimization), DSX Flex (grid power orchestration), DSX Sim (digital twin simulation), DSX Exchange (IT/OT signal integration), and DSX Reference Designs. The platform targets maximum token throughput per megawatt and lowest cost per token at factory scale.
