TradingAgents is an Open Source multi-agent framework by Tauric Research (in collaboration with researchers from UCLA and MIT) that replicates the structure of a real trading firm with specialized LLM agents (fundamental, sentiment, news, and technical analysts, bull/bear researchers, traders, and risk management). It is based on the paper "TradingAgents: Multi-Agents LLM Financial Trading Framework" published on arXiv in December 2024 and was released as a LangGraph-based Python framework for research purposes. The tool supports numerous LLM providers (including OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, DeepSeek) and is actively being developed (currently version v0.4.0).
