Momentum
AGENTS.md is an open, simple format (a plain Markdown file in the repository root) that gives AI coding agents project-specific guidance, such as build and test commands and code conventions. OpenAI released the format and in December 2025 contributed it to the Agentic AI Foundation (Linux Foundation). The official specification is maintained at agents.md, and the source code is on GitHub under the MIT license.
