ChatTJB is not an AI product but an art/satire project by former Google employee Tucker Bryant: behind the chatbot-like web interface (chattjb.org), every answer is written by a human (Bryant himself or, since summer 2026, approved volunteers), not by an AI or LLM. Launched in April 2026, the project went viral after a San Francisco billboard campaign in July 2026 revealed "AI" stood for "Average Individual." More than 100,000 prompts have been submitted, answered by Bryant and a growing volunteer network of over 10,000 people.
