Glaze is a No-Code app builder by Raycast that lets users create real desktop apps for macOS through chat prompts without writing code. The apps run locally ("local-first"), launch instantly, work offline, and can access the file system, menu bar, and other operating system functions. Glaze launched as a private Beta on March 4th and was later opened to everyone; it uses AI models like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex under the hood and offers public and private Team Stores for sharing and discovering apps.
