Tsubaki.3 is the latest anime-focused text-to-image model from PixAI (operator: Metanomaly), which has been in a closed "Creator Early Access" phase since August 2026. Compared to its predecessor Tsubaki.2, it brings significant improvements in text rendering within images, manga creation (including panel layout), and complex multi-character scenes, according to official announcements. Additionally, the model supports single-image character references (without separate LoRA training), targeted, precise image editing via prompt, and a color palette system with hex code control. At the time of research, the model has not yet been released publicly; users can register for the early testing phase via waitlist/email.
