Nous Portal is the central subscription and access portal from Nous Research and the officially recommended method for operating Hermes Agent. Through a single OAuth login, users gain access to over 300 AI models from various providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Nous' own Hermes models, and others) as well as a bundled "Tool Gateway" for web search, image generation, text-to-speech, and browser automation, all billed through a shared credit balance. Hermes Agent itself is an Open Source, self-hostable AI agent under MIT license, available as a terminal app and native desktop application for macOS, Windows, and Linux, offering persistent memory and custom-created skills. Official SWE-bench-Verified scores for the product itself were documented in the research
