Hermes Curator is not a standalone application, but a background function integrated into Nous Research's Open Source agent "Hermes Agent." It monitors agent-generated "Skills" (capabilities produced through the self-improvement loop), tracks their usage frequency, and automatically transitions them from active to deprecated to archived to avoid redundancy and bloat. The function runs by default as an enabled periodic background process with its own auxiliary model review that suggests consolidations, and never permanently deletes Skills—only reversibly archives them. Since Hermes Curator is part of Hermes Agent, the licensing, platform, and pricing structure of the overall product apply.
