NewsGuard AI is a news chatbot developed by NewsGuard Technologies that generates answers to questions about current news topics exclusively from approximately 12,000 news and information sources vetted by NewsGuard journalists. The service launched in the United States in late June 2026 and expanded to Germany, Austria, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and other European countries in September 2026. Answers include source attribution and links to cited publications; NewsGuard shares 50% of revenue with cited publishers and does not train its model on publisher content.
