Moonbounce (formerly Clavata) is a real-time AI control system for content moderation that translates enterprise policies into executable, atomic rules and evaluates content at runtime. The company was founded by Brett Levenson (former Meta Integrity lead) and Ash Bhardwaj (former Apple infrastructure engineer) and is based in Oakland, California. Moonbounce trains its own LLM that evaluates customer policies and delivers decisions in under 300 milliseconds; the system already processes over 40 million daily reviews for more than 100 million active users at customers such as Civitai, Dippy AI, and Moescape. In April 2026, the company announced a $12 million funding round led by Amplify Partners and StepStone Group.
