Kimi K3 is Moonshot AI's latest flagship language model, unveiled on July 16, 2026. It is a Mixture-of-Experts model with 2.8 trillion parameters (16 of 896 experts active per Token), based on the new "Kimi Delta Attention" architecture and "Attention Residuals". The model features native visual processing (multimodality), a context window of up to 1 million Token, and is provided as Open Source weights under a modified MIT license. On the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, it achieves a score of 57, ranking it among the most powerful Open Source models globally.
