The Agentic Identity Hub by Descope is an identity and access control platform specifically designed for AI agents and MCP servers. It manages agents as independent identities alongside human users, issues short-lived, role-based access Tokens, and enforces policies for authentication, authorization, and credential management. The product launched in April 2025 as "Agentic Identity Hub" and has since been expanded multiple times (including version 2.0 in January 2026, version 2.5, and cross-app access support in September 2026).
