Momentum
The WSE-3 (Wafer-Scale Engine 3) is Cerebras Systems' third-generation AI accelerator chip that uses an entire silicon wafer as a single processor. It contains 4 trillion transistors and 900,000 AI-optimized cores, manufactured on TSMC's 5nm process. The chip is the core of the CS-3 system and is primarily used for training and inference of large language models (e.g., Llama, Gemma, GPT-OSS) — it is not itself a language model but the hardware platform for them.
