Momentum
Minions is an internal AI coding agent system from Stripe that is not sold publicly. It is based on a fork of the Open Source agent framework "Goose" from Block and independently creates complete Pull Requests from task descriptions (e.g., from Slack, tickets, or Google Docs), including code, tests, and documentation. The agents work unattended (without intermediate human steps) in isolated cloud development environments (Devbox) and use an internal MCP tool system ("Toolshed") to access Stripe's codebase, CI/CD, and documentation; only the final PR is reviewed by humans. According to Stripe, this now results in over 1,300 Pull Requests per week created entirely without human-written code.
