Emmy is the central AI platform of Physical Superintelligence (PSI), a company launched in September 2026 and named after physicist Amalie Emmy Noether. It consists of a sovereign reasoning engine combining pretrained and fine-tuned models with a large curated collection of simulations to address physical research questions as a "virtual physicist." As its first commercial application, a subset of Emmy is being productized for optimizing terrestrial and orbital AI data centers (energy, cooling, network, compute). PSI has also announced $58 million in Seed financing and is a founding partner of the Fermi Explorer Mission to develop an interstellar probe.
