NEO (officially "NEO-ONE SCI" / implantable BCI hand-motor-function compensation system) is an invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) developed by the Chinese company Neuracle Technology (Shanghai/Changzhou, spun out of Tsinghua University research). It is NOT an autonomous-driving product but a medical device: a coin-sized module with eight epidural electrodes (placed on the dura mater, outside brain tissue) records neural signals, transmits them wirelessly to a computer for decoding, and drives a pneumatic robotic glove.
