NEO is an implantable brain-computer interface (BCI) developed by Neuracle Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai) — not an autonomous driving product. The coin-sized device was co-developed with researchers at Tsinghua University and places sensors on the dura mater to translate brain signals into commands for external devices. In March 2026, NEO became the world's first Class III implantable BCI medical device to receive market approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). No product named "NEO" by "neuracle-technology" in the autonomous driving category exists in any verifiable source.
