MiniMax Agent is a general-purpose AI agent developed by MiniMax for complex, multi-step tasks that combines planning, programming, research, and multimodal content creation in one tool. The product was officially launched in June 2025 and runs on its own domain agent.minimax.io, separate from the corporate site minimax.io. It is based on MiniMax's proprietary language models (most recently M2.7/M3) and is offered via web, desktop app, and mobile apps, as well as through a credit-based subscription model (Free/Basic/Pro). Additionally, CLI/developer variants (Mini-Agent, MMX-CLI) are available for API use.
