Base One (also called "Base1") is the first proprietary AI model from Base44, a No-Code/Vibe-Coding platform acquired by Wix. It is a Fine-Tuning of an existing Open Source base model specifically trained for creating web applications through natural language – not a model trained from scratch. Training was conducted using reinforcement learning based on tens of millions of real user interactions from the Base44 platform, supplemented with synthetic data. The model was deployed to production on June 29, 2026 and is available to users as a selectable option alongside models such as Claude Opus or GPT.
