Momentum
Aider is an open-source, terminal-based AI pair programming tool that edits code in local Git repositories via a chat interface. It is model-agnostic and supports a wide range of cloud and local LLMs (including Claude, GPT-4o, DeepSeek, Gemini, Ollama). Git is treated as a first-class citizen: every change is automatically committed. It runs primarily in the terminal but can also be used inside IDEs and via an experimental browser UI.
