Sesame is an AI startup (founded by Oculus co-founder Brendan Iribe) that develops voice agents with natural, emotionally expressive conversation. Its core product is the iOS/Android app "Sesame: Personal Agents" featuring four characters (Maya, Miles, Simone, Charlie) based on its proprietary Conversational Speech Model (CSM), which can perform web searches in parallel while speaking. The underlying CSM-1B model is available as an Open Source weights model under Apache-2.0 license, while the app currently runs as a free Preview without public API. Long-term, Sesame plans to integrate into its own intelligent glasses, announced for 2027.
