Fusion is an OpenRouter feature that sends a prompt in parallel to a panel of multiple AI models and has a judge model synthesize structured analysis (consensus, contradictions, blind spots); a final model then writes the answer from that analysis. It is accessible via the "openrouter/fusion" model alias, as a plugin, or as a server tool, through OpenRouter's OpenAI-compatible API. According to OpenRouter's blog, a Fusion panel (Fable 5 + GPT-5.5) outperformed individual models on Perplexity's DRACO benchmark; billing is cumulative, based on the sum of all underlying model calls plus the judge call.
