"AI for All" (Modu-ui AI) is not a single commercial Kakao product, but a national project initiated by South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (과기정통부) to provide AI services free of charge across the country. Kakao leads one of three selected consortiums (alongside SKT and KT), together with LG Group companies (LG Uplus, LG AI Research, LG Electronics, LG CNS) and partners such as Shinhan Bank for financial services. The service uses KakaoTalk and telephone as access channels, is based on the Korean AI models Kanana (Kakao) and EXAONE/K-EXAONE (LG AI Research), and aims to connect universal chatbots with public and domain-specific AI agents (including finance, health, and government services).
