Muse Glimmer is an Open Source language model with 30 billion parameters (dense architecture, no MoE) released by Meta Superintelligence Labs, distilled from the larger proprietary model Muse Spark. It is specifically optimized for local, always-on agent workflows: multi-step Reasoning, reliable tool use, multimodality (text and image), and error correction run entirely on consumer hardware such as a Mac or PC with a GPU. The weights are provided under the Apache 2.0 license, enabling unrestricted commercial use, modification, and redistribution. Meta itself does not offer a hosted API; cloud Inference pricing comes from third-party providers such as Together AI or OpenRouter.
