Miles is an Open Source framework by RadixArk (the company behind SGLang) for large-scale Reinforcement Learning post-training of LLMs and VLMs, spun out from the "slime" project. It combines SGLang for high-throughput Rollouts with Megatron-LM (or alternatively FSDP2) for distributed Training and leverages Ray for cluster orchestration. Miles was open-sourced in November 2025 and supports FP8/MXFP8/NVFP4 Training, Rollout Routing Replay (R3), fault tolerance, and agentic multi-step Tool use, among other features. RadixArk, led by CEO Ying Sheng, was valued at approximately $400 million in 2026 and is funded through an Open-Core model with paid Hosting and Enterprise services.
