dpa-iq is an API/MCP platform developed by Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) that provides verified dpa content (articles, images, events, and prospectively video/audio) in machine-readable format for AI agents and LLM-based applications. Access is synchronous and on-demand via REST API or Model Context Protocol (MCP), with content tagged by source, version, and timestamp. The product is currently in Private Preview phase (launched in April according to LinkedIn announcement, presented at the dpa editorial conference "dpa26"), with plans to expand to additional formats and external partner sources. Pricing is negotiated individually and consists of content licensing plus usage-based technical fees.
