AnythingLLM is an Open Source all-in-one AI application by Mintplex Labs for chatting with your own documents (RAG), AI agents, and multi-user workspaces. It runs as a desktop app (Mac/Windows/Linux) or Docker container for self-hosting, or alternatively as a hosted cloud version. The software supports numerous local and cloud-based LLM providers (e.g., Ollama, LM Studio, OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Groq) as well as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for tool integration. The source code is available under MIT license on GitHub and is developed by Mintplex Labs (founded by Timothy Carambat, YCombinator S22).
