GLM-5.2 is the current flagship language model from Zhipu AI (brand Z.ai), released on June 13, 2026 as the successor to GLM-5.1. It is a Mixture-of-Experts model with approximately 744 billion parameters (around 40 billion active per Token), specialized for long-running Coding and Agent tasks and offering a practical usable context of 1 million Token. The weights are freely available under MIT license on Hugging Face, with an additional paid API and subscription model (GLM Coding Plan). The model is text-based (no image understanding) and offers two selectable Reasoning modes (High/Max).
