#22 en Assistants CLI & terminalWarp · depuis Juni 2024 (als "Agent Mode" eingeführt) · 3× · vu le 02 juil. 2026
Warp Agent is the native AI coding agent built into the Warp terminal application (formerly "Agent Mode"), translating natural-language input into terminal commands and code changes. It offers multi-agent orchestration, model choice across several providers, codebase indexing, and granular permission controls, and can also be run alongside third-party agents like Claude Code and Codex via Warp's cloud orchestration platform "Oz." Warp itself is a Rust-based, AI-focused terminal application ("Agentic Development Environment") for macOS, Windows, and Linux, whose client code is open source under AGPL v3. Using Warp Agent requires a paid plan or bringing your own API key (BYOK), since the free tier doesn't include bundled AI usage for the agent.
