Town is a personal AI assistant that manages inboxes, calendars, and recurring office tasks for users. Each user receives a personalized AI named "Townie" with its own @town.com email address that reads, writes, and sends emails, schedules appointments, and can be connected to Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other tools. The product is offered as pure cloud software without a self-hosting option and is accessible via web, iOS app, and incoming through WhatsApp and Telegram, as well as outgoing via email. Town was founded by Jean-Denis Gréze and Tony Vincent and received Series-A funding of $55 million from a16z and other investors in June 2026.
