Folio AI is an AI copilot for presentations that works directly inside PowerPoint and Google Slides, creating and editing slides in real time with surgical, in-place edits rather than regenerating whole decks. It uses a proprietary simplified slide representation to enable faster, more token-efficient editing than comparable slide copilots. It operates on real, editable PowerPoint objects (shapes, native charts, text) instead of static images, and can incorporate existing layouts, brand templates, and uploaded files (e.g. Excel, logos). The product originally launched under the name "Verso" and was later rebranded to "Folio".
