Speechify is an AI-powered text-to-speech and voice-AI productivity app that converts written content (PDFs, web pages, ebooks, documents) into natural-sounding spoken audio. Founded by Cliff Weitzman, it primarily serves people with dyslexia, ADHD, or visual impairments, as well as avid readers and professionals who prefer consuming content by audio. Beyond reading aloud, Speechify offers voice-typing dictation, a Voice AI Assistant, and AI podcast creation, with speech output powered by its proprietary SIMBA model family. It also offers a separate Speechify Studio product for professional voiceover creation, voice cloning and video dubbing, plus a developer API.
