AI Lab Standalone is a native desktop application by picture-instruments (Leverkusen) for Windows and macOS that serves as a visual workspace for generative image AI models. Instead of chat interfaces, the software offers an image-based workflow with reference images, selections, variant comparison, and local storage of all assets. The application bundles multiple AI image models (including those from Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, and Black Forest Labs) through a unified Token subscription system that also covers the associated Photoshop UXP plugin. An internet connection is required for actual image generation, as images are sent to external AI provider servers.
