Yuna is the proprietary research platform of Outer Biosciences (Outer Bio), a US biotech company that went public in 2025 and was co-founded by Michael Polansky and Lady Gaga. The platform keeps donated, full-thickness human skin tissue alive for approximately four weeks using a 3D-printed nutrient scaffold and combines this with automated in-vitro screening and a proprietary machine learning model that predicts the effect of unknown compounds on specific skin functions. The system does not serve the end-consumer market, but rather B2B active ingredient research: results from tissue tests flow back into the model to improve future predictions. Outer Bio does not offer a publicly listed price list; the business model is based on
