NVIDIA Cosmos 3 is an open omni-foundation model for physical AI announced on May 31, 2026 at GTC Taipei/Computex. It unifies language understanding, image, video, and audio generation, plus robot action prediction, within a single Mixture-of-Transformers architecture consisting of a Reasoner tower and a Generator tower. Model weights are freely available under the Linux Foundation OpenMDW-1.1 license (Nano: 16B parameters, Super: 64B parameters) via Hugging Face, GitHub, and NVIDIA NIM microservices. Cosmos 3 is explicitly not a deterministic physics simulator — physical laws are only approximated, and outputs must not be treated as certified simulation.
