OpenBot is an Open Source framework from CopilotKit for self-hosted "AI-Coworker", where each agent receives its own isolated computing environment (browser, file system, tools). Every action is checked by a Policy-Engine before execution and logged afterwards (Audit-Trail). The project is framework-agnostic: it accepts any agent that speaks the open AG-UI protocol (e.g. LangGraph, Mastra, CrewAI, Pydantic AI, Google ADK). OpenBot is in Alpha stage, designed as a template for self-cloning (not a hosted service), and is distributed under the MIT license.
