Chai-3 is the most advanced AI model from Chai Discovery (San Francisco) for generative prediction and design of biomolecules, particularly de-novo antibodies. It has not been publicly launched as a standalone product to date, but was first announced as part of an exclusive Pfizer licensing agreement in June 2026 and is primarily accessible through direct enterprise partnerships with pharmaceutical companies (Pfizer, Eli Lilly). Compared to its predecessor Chai-2, Chai-3 significantly improves target molecule hit rates, binding affinity, and the ability to design multispecific molecules and hard-to-address ("undruggable") target structures, according to the company.
