FLUX.2 is a family of text-to-image and image editing models from Black Forest Labs, released on November 25, 2025. The model family includes four variants – [pro], [flex], [dev], and [klein] – sharing a 32-billion parameter architecture core (except [klein] at 4B/9B). The flagship is based on a latent flow matching architecture combining a Mistral-3 24B vision-language model with a rectified flow transformer, supporting multi-reference inputs (up to 10 images) and output resolutions up to 4 megapixels. BFL follows an open-core model: [dev] weights are freely available on Hugging Face, while [pro] and [flex] are exclusively available as managed API endpoints.
