3M's Digital Materials Hub is a web platform that lets engineers access, compare, and download verified 3M material data cards, modeling data, and product specifications for use in FEA simulation software. Since its initial launch in February 2025, the platform has been expanded with a Workbench feature for direct collaboration with 3M scientists, optical material models, and generative AI capabilities to virtually test materials that don't yet physically exist. The expanded version was unveiled in December 2025 ahead of CES 2026 and leverages Amazon Web Services (Bedrock, AgentCore) for agentic AI capabilities. Access is free via login/registration on the official product page digitalmaterialshub.3m.com.
