XiaoAi (小爱同学, also known as "Xiaoai Voice" and rebranded as "Super XiaoAi" in October 2024) is Xiaomi's proprietary AI voice assistant, integrated since 2017 into Xiaomi smartphones, smart speakers, TVs, and IoT devices. It is primarily designed for the Chinese market and serves as the central control interface for Xiaomi's Mi Home ecosystem. With the HyperOS 2 platform (announced October 2024, launched December 2024), it was relaunched as "Super XiaoAi" with access to third-party large models such as DeepSeek R1 and Tongyi Qianwen. As of March 2023, XiaoAi had 115 million monthly active users.
