GLM-5.3 is the latest flagship language model from Z.ai (Zhipu AI), released on August 14, 2026. It is based on the same core architecture as GLM-5.2, with all improvements achieved exclusively through extended Post-Training. The model demonstrates significant advances in complex software development, long-horizon Agent tasks, and particularly in cybersecurity capabilities (vulnerability detection and exploitation). Currently, GLM-5.3 is available only through the GLM Coding Plan and the ZCode environment; API access and Open Source weights are expected to follow upon completion of security reviews.
