Carbon is a family of open-source genomic foundation models from Hugging Face Bio, in 500M, 3B and 8B sizes. The models are autoregressive: they continue DNA sequences, score the effects of genetic variants, and support sequence generation and motif analysis. An interactive demo on Hugging Face Spaces shows sequence continuation, variant scoring and protein structure prediction.
