Aristotle Tutor is a language-based AI tutoring platform for students aged 13–18 (grades 6–12), developed by Stanford alumni. Rather than providing direct answers, the AI guides students through thinking processes using the Socratic method and a shared whiteboard, identifies misconceptions, and adapts to learning pace and style. The system features a multi-agent architecture, session memory, parent reports, and covers subjects including mathematics, sciences, foreign languages, and test preparation (SAT/ACT, AP/IB). The product is currently in a nationwide launch phase following a closed beta with over 1,000 students.
