HunyuanWorld 1.0 is an open-source 3D world generation model by Tencent Hunyuan that creates immersive, explorable, and interactive 3D scenes from text or image inputs. It uses a semantically layered 3D mesh representation with panoramic world proxies to achieve 360° scene coverage. Outputs can be exported as mesh files compatible with standard CG pipelines, game engines, VR platforms, and physics simulators. The model was released as open source on July 26, 2025 via GitHub and Hugging Face.
