Synthesia Sessions is a platform for interactive, two-way conversations with lifelike AI avatars, launched by Synthesia on October 1, 2026. It includes Roleplay Sessions (conversation training with real-time feedback and coaching) and Survey Sessions (avatar-led, conversation-based interviews instead of traditional forms); a third type, Expert Sessions, was announced as "coming soon." The avatars are based on Synthesia's Express-2 technology and run on the company's proprietary, enterprise-certified platform (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001/27701/42001, GDPR-compliant, SSO). Sessions complements the existing Interactive Avatar API and is integrated into Synthesia's pricing plans as well as the Learner Portal/SCORM/LMS workflow.
