Sesame: Personal Agents is an iOS app by Sesame AI, Inc. (founded 2023 by Brendan Iribe and Ankit Kumar) that provides four AI conversational agents – Maya, Miles, Simone, and Charlie – each with a distinct personality, voice, and persistent memory. The app combines real-time, ultra-low-latency voice conversation with web search, note-taking, reminders, and an incognito mode. The underlying Conversational Speech Model (CSM) generates speech audio directly rather than converting text to speech. The preview is currently free and available in 39 countries; an Android client has been announced.
